Tosa Jazz performs for Frank and Amber

To Tosa Jazz members:
The gig itself is on Saturday, November 12th, at the Miramar Theatre on Oakland Ave. The venue has an auditorium style room with a dance floor in the middle and a raised stage platform large enough to readily accommodate us.
Rehearsals would be Tuesday nights 8:15-8:30-ish to 9:15-9:30 on the following dates: October 11th, October 25th, November 1st. October 18th is out because of a school conflict, and November 8th is a concert by the full band. If enough folks wanted to, we could try to find a place to rehearse elsewhere on the 18th and start early that night.
Frank & Amber are having their wedding ceremony at 6 p.m. which they anticipate will take a half hour. They would like us to be the first band up, playing about 90 minutes beginning as soon after the ceremony as possible. My plan would be to have the rhythm section arrive with enough time to set up prior to the ceremony, and then ask everyone else to either come before 6 p.m. to watch the ceremony, or to come right around 6:30 and set up quickly and quietly.
Drink tickets will be distributed to musicians, and there will be food and other beverages available backstage.
