IT’S ALMOST SEPTEMBER. DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR INSTRUMENT IS?
Rehearsals will start on Tuesday, September 3rd, at 7 p.m., in the Longfellow M.S. band room, 76th & North. It’ll be great to see everyone again and catch up on everyone’s summer. We’ll ease into it with about 60-70 minutes of rehearsal. I’ll pull out a variety of charts that are likely to make our concert list this year. Speaking of concerts, I believe this to be the lineup, pending final approval:
Tuesday, October 29th – Children’s Halloween Concert in the cafeteria (because it was fun there last year!)
Tuesday, December 10th – Holiday concert
Tuesday, March 18th – Concert (possibly with accompanied solos, let me know if you’re interested)
Tuesday, May 13th – Concert
There is currently a possibility of Monday dress rehearsals for all of these concert dates.
