A Very Disney Halloween

Hey Kids! Wauwatosa Community Band is putting on a Halloween show, October 28th at 7pm. If you come in costume you get in for FREE! Encourage your parents, family, and friends to also come in costume, and they can get in FREE TOO!!! We have tons of fun things for you and we’re also playing music from Frozen and Brave. Paintings and Portraits

The Wauwatosa Community Band is concluding its season with “Paintings and Portraits,” the final installment of its three-concert series exploring different artistic combinations. It will include:

Pictures At An Exhibition by: Modest Mussorgsky
Kilimanjaro – An African Portrait by Robert Washburn
Scenes from “The Louvre” (based on Ancient Airs) by Norman Dello Joio

One of the highlights of the concert will be the use of a projection screen to display various works of art while the music is expertly played by the 60-piece concert band. Donna Kummer will conduct, and Gladys Chmiel will be the band’s announcer.

Tickets are available at the door: $5 Adults, $3 Students/Seniors

Wauwatosa, WI

FREE Snacks and beverages will be served following the concert in the auditorium lobby courtesy of the band. The event is sponsored by the Wauwatosa Recreation Department.
