Tuesday October 27th is our annual Halloween Kids Concert. Anyone in costume is admitted FOR FREE! Enjoy spooky music from movies, treats, and more as the Wauwatosa Community Band performs your favorite frightful tunes.
Selections this year include:
- Chillers and Thrillers by John Williams, arr. John Moss
- Cycle of the Werewolf by Jeremy S. Martin
- Meet the Band by Sandy Feldstein and Larry Clark
- Three Billy Goats Gruff by Mike Hannickel and Amy Adam
- The Heart of Madness by Mark Lortz
- Funeral March of a Marionette by Gounod, arr. Stephen Squires
- Ghosts in the Graveyard by Scott Watson
Please stay for refreshments after the concert courtesy of the band and enjoy the show!

New Season Started

Welcome back! Rehearsals have begun every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm in the Longfellow Middle School band room. For directions and details, have a look at the About page. Tosaband is a program through the Wauwatosa Rec Department, we collect membership dues. Please pay with cash or check to our Treasurer, Bev (first flute). Pricing is $25 per person or $50 per family each semester with checks payable to “Wauwatosa Community Band”.
If you can’t make a rehearsal, please inform your section leaders. Other band info is either found here or on our Facebook page! Follow us! See the calendar of events for the current concert season dates.
Both Tosaband and Tosa Jazz have polo shirts with the band’s logo, which we periodically wear for concerts. Donna has a few left available if you would like to purchase one. The band options are blue or red, Tosa Jazz choices are green or purple.
Donna is currently accepting requests from the band for this season. If there’s a piece of music you’ve been itching to play (and we haven’t played it in about 5 years) anything is up for grabs. Send in the requests!
