Winter Fantasia

Year of Fantasia

Our December concert will kick off a year of concerts inspired by the music from Disney’s Fantasia and Fantasia 2000. We’ll call the concerts “Winter Fantasia,” “Spring Fantasia,” etc. Selections for December from Fantasia will include selections from the Nutcracker, Schubert’s Ave Maria, and Beethoven’s Fifth. However, our version of Beethoven will be a novelty tune entitled “Beethoven’s Fifth Christmas.”

We also plan to include the REAL version of Alfred Reed’s Russian Christmas Music for the December concert.

Annual Children’s Halloween Concert

Friday, September 10th, 2010

Our Halloween concert is scheduled for Tuesday, October 26th at 7:00pm in the Longfellow Middle School Auditorium. Children are invited to wear costumes and should remember to bring your parents, but also extend an invite to your friends and relatives too! Everyone will enjoy this festive event.
