Band Member Online Registration Tutorial

The Wauwatosa Rec Department online system can be a bit challenging. Here are instructions to help you get signed up so you can send membership payments online. PLEASE NOTE that you can only register for the full year of band through the online portal. If you need to register for just one semester, you will have to contact the rec department directly.

New Semester and New Website Address
Monday, August 28th, 2023
We have acquired a new website address. Everything has been moved to tosaband.org now.
Rehearsals will start Tuesday, September 5th, at 7 p.m., Longfellow M.S. band room. Other notable dates are:
- October 24th, 7pm, children’s Halloween concert
- December 5th, 7:30pm, Tosa Band Concert
- December 12th, 7pm – weekly Tosa Jazz rehearsals begin
- December 26th – no rehearsal
- January 30th, 7:30pm, Tosa Jazz concert
- February 6th, 7pm – weekly Tosa Band rehearsals begin
- March 26th – no rehearsal
- May 14th – sectionals rehearsal off-site (school not available)
- May 21st, 7pm – Tosa Band concert

Celebrating 25 Years (Take 2)

On May 16th, Wauwatosa Community Band presents our 25th Anniversary Concert: Take Two (originally scheduled for May 2020). A little bit of Star Wars, Fiddler on the Roof, Copland, Holst’s “Mars” and more! This 65-piece band not only sounds great, but Director Donna Kummer and Announcer Gladys Chmiel will guarantee that it will be entertaining as well! Tickets are $5 and there will be treats after the concert.
